Sanba designed a 10-story contemporary addition to an existing townhouse, located in Manhattan's Upper West Side. The project consists of 10 high-end loft apartments, 7 simplex and 3 duplex, facing Riverside Park. The cutting edge design, incorporating the old and the new in a very provocative way, generated a controversial dispute that appeared in the pages of the New York Times and in the screens of New York local TV station.
